How to use Gas 24/7?

With the Linde Gas 24/7 app you can buy, rent and exchange empty gas cylinders at one of our self-service points. To use the app, you need to register and get a username and password via e-mail that allows you to log in to the app. The Linde Gas 24/7 Nordics app can be downloaded from Google Play for Android devices and from the App Store to iOS devices.

On the app login page, you can

Log in by inserting your user id and password.
Renew a password.
Link to the landing page with registration and FAQ.
Get ADR information from your last purchase in the app.

When logged in the app, you can

Get a 4-digit PIN code for entering Gas 24/7. You must be near the location with GPS turned on. PIN code is valid for 30 minutes.
Scan returns, and purchase of new cylinders provided you are at a Gas 24/7 and received a PIN code. Read more under "Menu" on the right.

Menu

Home – you can see how many returns or purchases you have scanned, choose to scan more cylinders or go ahead and complete purchases.
Current order – see which cylinders you have scanned and remove cylinders from order if needed.
History – view you last five orders in app.
Safety – links to safety sheets, safe cylinder handling, safe cylinder transport and safe Acetylene handling
Help – instructions on how to use the self-service point and the app.
Contact Linde – contact support, send text message or call.
Change password – create your own password.
Log out – log out of the app (cannot be done with an unfinished order).

PIN code

To get a PIN code to open the door, your mobile phone must have GPS (location service) enabled. This is used to determine your location, after which a 4-digit door code for our Gas 24/7 self-service point will be displayed in the app. The code displayed in the app must be entered via the keypad on the door. The door code is valid for 30 minutes with the remaining time displayed on the screen. To start the purchasing process, click on "CONTINUE" button.

  • With the app you can buy cylinders and return used cylinders by scanning the cylinder's bar code.
  • Before buying new gas cylinders, the app asks if there are any empty cylinders to return.
    • By choosing "YES", you can scan the barcodes on the empty gas cylinders, following the instructions in the app. After you scan the empty cylinders, you can continue the purchase by either scanning new cylinders or completing the transaction.
    • If selecting "NO", i.e. if no empty cylinders are to return, you can start scanning new cylinders immediately.
  • If cylinder is missing a barcode (valid for all propane and UNICYL® cylinders), you will find barcodes on the wall where you leave your returns for empty cylinders or on the product labels above the cylinders for new cylinders.
  • If the bar code cannot be scanned, it may be due to insufficient light or a defective bar code.
    • To increase the brightness, you can turn on the flashlight in your mobile phone, use the icon in the top right corner of the scan mode and then try scanning again.
    • To enter the code manually, exit the scan mode by clicking "BACK" button on Android or "CANCEL" on iPhone. You will then go to manual mode, where you can enter the numbers on the bar code manually.

  • Page “HOME” has five options:
    • Purchases – summary of scanned full cylinders, press the button and you will be able to see more details about products and remove them.
    • Returns – summary of scanned empty cylinders, press the button and you will be able to see more details about products and remove them.
    • Return – if you need to scan more empty cylinders.
    • Purchase – if you need to scan more full cylinders.

NOTE! By cliocking on the blue DELETE-button for a product, the product will be removed from the list.

To confirm your order and see prices, click on "SUBMIT" button and you will be taken to the page where you confirm your order.

  • This page shows information about returned and purchased products, number, ADR points and final price (incl. VAT).
  • Add your own reference in the box "Customer reference", which is then included in the invoice.
  • By scrolling down you can review the purchase and then click on "SEND ORDER" to confirm, after which the order will be sent. To return to the purchasing process, click the "CANCEL" button.
  • After clicking on the "SEND ORDER" button, you will receive the message "Thank you for your order!" which confirms that the purchase has been completed. You can then exit the mobile app Linde Gas 24/7 by selecting "LOG OUT" in the menu.
  • When leaving the self-service area, make sure you close the door.

What should I do if the product scan fails?

If the scan fails, it may be due to insufficient light or a defective bar code.

  • There are 3 identical barcodes on each rental cylinder (excluding the propane and UNICYL® range). If a barcode is damaged, try scanning one of the other codes.
  • If you have a rental cylinder missing a barcode. Exit the scan mode by clicking the "BACK" button on Android or "CANCEL" on iPhone. You will then go to manual mode, where you can enter the numbers on the barcode manually or choose the correct cylinder from your current cylinder balance.
  • To increase the brightness, you can turn on the flashlight in your mobile phone, use the icon in the top right corner of the scan mode, and then try scanning again.
  • If the mobile app freezes and you cannot complete the purchase, try restarting the app and / or mobile. If that does not help, call Gas 24/7 support or send an e-mail.

How can I get to the "HOME" page from the menu?

Click on "HOME" in the menu.

Become a user

To start using a Gas 24/7 self-service site you need to register at the landing page or in the app. You get a username and password via email that you log into the app with. Registration can take up to two days. You also need to download the Linde Gas 24/7 Nordics app before you can start shop.
